DIY Capacitor

This is a capacitor designed for audio filter use as in the tone control of your instrument.

The Capacitor don't have a voltage rating.

It should have a capacitance around .033uF

Tone controls use capacitors on a huge spectrum, so it's not a problem if your's reads .025uF or .040uF ect.

Your tone will just be altered differently.

Read this informative article from the respected Seymour Duncan for more information about tone capacitors:

Use with higher volt-amps (VA) than the guitar signal is not reccomended.

Use it at own risk if attempted on anything else than a guitar or bass guitar signal.
